ROUTE AST100 SPLIT – DUBROVNIK – SPLIT

DAY 1 / SATURDAY: SPLIT
Embarkation begins at 13:00h. Get settled in your cabin before joining us for a welcome drink followed by dinner this evening. Overnight in Split. (D)
DAY 2 / SUNDAY: SPLIT – BOL – HVAR
In the morning, we leave Split and head to the island of Brač, to picturesque town of Bol which is famous for its Golden Cape, the 530 m long golden pebble beach, unique since it changes its shape and position depending on the winds and currents. You will have time to walk around this small town, have a coffee or simply to go swimming. Lunch on board. After the lunch, we continue sailing along the beautiful coast, towards the island of Hvar. Upon arrival in Hvar in the afternoon, join our guided city tour, find out about its rich history and beautiful architecture and important landmarks like Cathedral of St Stephen, the Theatre which is one of the oldest in Europe dating back from 1612, Arsenal, Spanish Fortress. You will have free evening to explore the town on your own and check what its night life has to offer. Overnight in Hvar. (B, L)
DAY 3 / MONDAY: HVAR – MLJET
Morning departure towards the island of Mljet, with plenty of time for morning swim along the sail. Upon arrival in Pomena, you can visit the National Park, well known for its versatile eco-system and two salt lakes (‘’Veliko jezero’’- Big Lake and ‘’Malo jezero’’- Small Lake) as well as for Benedictine Monastery from 12th century located on the St Mary’s Islet. In the evening, enjoy Captain’s dinner on board. Overnight in Pomena (B, L, CD)
DAY 4 / TUESDAY: MLJET – DUBROVNIK
In the morning we sail to Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a guided city tour, you will have plenty of free time to explore rich history of the Old town or visit some of the famous sights of the “Pearl of Adriatic”, like Cable car ride to Srđ Mountain, stroll along city walls or a boat ride to Lokrum island. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (B, L)
DAY 5 / WEDNESDAY: DUBROVNIK – KORČULA
Today we turn our compass back north towards the Island of Korčula. City of Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Join us on tasting the autochthone wines in a local winery. Enjoy your free evening to try out some homemade food in one of many restaurants. (B, L, T)
DAY 6 / THURSDAY: KORČULA – MAKARSKA
In the morning we continue sailing towards the town of Makarska. You will enjoy the views of beautiful peninsula of Pelješac and have swim stop along the way. Lunch on board. Arrival in Makarska in afternoon. Nestled below the mountain of Biokovo, the town of Makarska is one of pearls of Dalmatian tourism. You will have free time to explore the town at your own pace. Overnight in Makarska. (B, L)
DAY 7 / FRIDAY: MAKARSKA – PUČIŠĆA – SPLIT
On our final day, we sail across the Brač channel to Pučišća. Situated on the north side of the island of Brač in a deep fjord, Pučišća is famous for its querries where you find the white stone which served for the construction of lots of important building and among them, the White House in Washington DC. This picturesque place with beautiful facades is also famous for its unique school of stonemasonry. Return to ship and lunch on board. In the afternoon, we finish our journey in Split, another UNESCO World Heritage site, best known for the glorious palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian. After the guided city tour, you have a free evening to explore Split. (B, L)
DAY 8 / SATURDAY: SPLIT
After breakfast, it’s time to disembark. (B)
